A+M began in 1968 as Archibald & Hamel, Inc., a manufacturers’ representative agency established by founding partners Joseph J. Archibald, Jr and William D. Hamel. In 1985, Mr. Hamel retired from the company and sold his interest in AHI to Joseph J. Archibald, Jr. Under Joe Archibald’s guidance, the company became widely recognized for its professional capabilities, dependability and unexcelled integrity. In 1998, Joe Archibald, Jr. sold his shares to his son, Joseph J. Archibald III. Under the current ownership team of Joe Archibald and John Marcheschi, A+M continues to grow and evolve with an unrelenting commitment to innovation and excellence.
